The Best Quiche Lorraine  

Ingredients: – 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade) – 6 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled – 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese – 4 large egg

– 1 cup heavy cream – 1/2 cup whole milk – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. 2. Spread the crumbled bacon and shredded Gruyere cheese evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.

1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, whole milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined. 2. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese in the pie crust.

Place the quiche on a baking sheet to catch any spills and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
